The communication platform if you are already on Microsoft 365
Teams is the right choice if your team is already on Microsoft 365. You are paying for it regardless, the integration with Outlook, OneDrive, and SharePoint is tighter than any alternative can match, and the meetings experience is competitive with Zoom. The chat UX is weaker than Slack and the channel and thread model is less mature, but the cost equation almost always wins if you are already in the Microsoft ecosystem.
